I do not directly participate in any insurance plans. However, if you have health insurance, I can provide an insurance statement so that you may receive any reimbursement to which you are entitled. However, f you have Medicare or Medicaid, you would not be covered if you saw me. You would need to see a Medicare or Medicaid provider.

Provision for lower cost treatment in my practice.

My practice also has psychiatric nurse practitioners, whom I personally trained when they were my students and who do accept insurance. Nurse practitioners are licensed to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication. Their fees are significantly lower. They also may collaborate with me when indicated.
